Dilla’s documentary series on endangered orangutans in rescue centres internationally gained her global recognition followed by many exhibitions and awards in Europe and Asia. In Helsinki (2018-2019), her orangutans were exhibited at Maailma Kylässä - World Village Festival to thirty thousand festival goers, and to another quarter million visitors at Helsinki Zoo during the summer.
In 2019, she won with her orangutan series the prestigious international Alfred Fried Photography award for the best photographs illustrating peace. In 2020, Dilla’s follow-up series in an elephant hospital gave her more widely accolades and exhibitions.
