In her photographic works, Anne Lass investigates different aspects of human living space at the beginning of our 21st century. Especially in the urban cityscapes, she finds conflict areas that influence her images: conflicts of functionalism and individual development, the association with nature, the concourse of construction and vastness, and, last but not least, to human interaction. Her photographs have been shown regularly in solo and group exhibitions in Europe, Australia, and the United States. Anne Lass has won numerous prestigious awards and has been published in monographs and other art publications such as Hijacked (Kehrer), In Unserer Zeit (Deutscher Kunstverlag) and more.
Anne Lass' works are held in collections such as C/O Berlin, Statens Kunstfond Denmark and Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam. Another Place Press published in 2022 a book about the Low Season project with 46 works with an essay by Danish writer Dennis Gade Kofod.
