Angelika Kollin Estonia, b. 1976

“Photography is a conduit that allows me to reveal the divine presence surrounding us, often hidden in plain sight. through this medium, i aim to reveal both the eternal and the invisible to those contemplating my work.”

Angelika Kollin (b. 1976) is an Estonian fine art photographer known for her portraiture and documentary-style work. Angelika’s passion for photography and art is profoundly rooted in her desire to explore the complexities of interhuman connections and the deeper meaning behind human existence. Her work is driven by a lifelong quest to understand human loneliness and suffering and to explore the role that faith plays in overcoming these challenges. In her photography, she seeks to capture honesty and unapologetic directness, all while imbuing her images with intimate emotions and gracious dignity. She finds great fulfilment in working on personal, long-term photographic projects that allow for deep exploration of her subjects.
